This service information is to be added to the appropriate McCauley
Service Manual until the next manual revision is issued.
Service Bulletin 222A replaces Service Bulletin 222 dated April 28, 1997.
Service Bulletin 222A provides minimum dimensional specifications. Lines
in margins indicate changes.
There have been two cases of the B-5387-1 actuating pin assemblies failing
on similar propellers resulting in a vibration. Upon disassembly the actuating
pin assemblies were found cracked.
McCauley has designed an improved actuating pin assembly for installation
in all C650 series propellers (listed above). Reference Service Bulletin
189D and Service Bulletin 193B for other C650 series models.
COMPLIANCE: At next scheduled overhaul,
as specified in McCauley Service Bulletin 137[X], or major disassembly,
parts replacement in accordance with this service bulletin must be accomplished.

Minimum diameter for the B-5387-1 and B-5387-2 actuating pin
is .4355 inch (1.106 ccm).
